Educational choices are faced throughout the education stage,but different education stages have their own characteristics.A large part of the educational choices in the early childhood education stage is related to the choice of kindergarten.Due to the special characteristics of children’s physical and mental development,the task of choosing a kindergarten falls on the shoulders of parents.Therefore,this research studies the current situation and influencing factors of parents’ tendency to choose a garden,finds out problems,solves problems,helps parents to reduce confusion and master appropriate methods in the process of choosing a garden,and lays a good educational foundation for the development of children.It also has corresponding reference value for kindergartens and governments.Based on the relevant literature and theories,as well as questionnaire surveys and interviews with parents of young children,this study has prepared a pre-questionnaire for the questionnaire on the status of children’s parents and their influencing factors,using the pre-questionnaire to questionnaire Baotou 210 for parents The survey,data recovery and re-editing resulted in a formal questionnaire.A formal questionnaire was used to survey 220 parents in Baotou City.At the same time,in-depth interviews were conducted with 20 parents to understand in more detail and in-depth the situation of children’s parents’ tendency to choose a garden.Research indicates:1.The majority of parents have choices.Most toddler parents will consider multiple kindergartens.Parents tend to choose a public kindergarten with a low price near their homes.They tend to make choices through field trips and want to give their children quality educational resources.Due to the different times of garden selection,garden selection methods,and garden selection groups,the factors considered by parents of young children also have individual differences.2.Infants ’parents’ tendency to choose a garden differs in different demographic variables.Mothers value garden choice more than fathers.Parents in the 31-35 age group are calm and objective when choosing a garden.High-education parents pay more attention to the feelings of young children.High-income families have fewer restrictions on choosing a garden.3.The factors often considered by parents when choosing a garden are: the spaciousness of the activity space,the teacher’s morality,a clear educational philosophy,excellent sanitary conditions,the improvement of the safety system,the usual communication channels,close to home,and reasonable prices.Wait.4.The influencing factors of parents’ tendency to choose gardens are different in different demographic variables.The mother focused on the software of the garden,and the father focused on the hardware of the garden.With the increase of age,parents pay more attention to the curriculum content and teaching philosophy.With the improvement of education,parents pay more attention to teachers’ professional knowledge and skills.Parents of private kindergartens consider more factors,and their participation in kindergartens is relatively high.Finally,it puts forward some valuable suggestions to the kindergarten,infant parents,and education supervisors.
