The students in the first grade of primary school are children aged 6-7 years old.They are in the transition and transition period between kindergarten and primary school.They are facing major challenges in all aspects of study and life.There are many differences and changes in kindergartens and primary schools,which put children on a "steep slope." Therefore,how to make children better adapt to the new life of the school during this period,slow down the "steep slope" of children's school entrance,and lay the foundation for their development is also the research focus of many experts and scholars in the field of preschool education at home and abroad.In a series of studies on admission adjustment,the first-year students' social adaptation ability is the top priority of the researchers' research and is also the research focus of this research.The better development of the first-year students' social adaptability will help them learn to adapt to the new environment,adjust new mentality,overcome new difficulties faster and better,and grow up healthily and vigorously on the future development path.China has a large population,and some children live in rural areas.Due to the differences in the ratio of teachers,the quality of parents and the conditions for running schools between rural and urban areas.Therefore,there are many problems in the social adaptation of the first-year rural students who need to be resolved.This study uses first-year students from the school I worked in(L Primary School,L Town,Qiqihar City,Heilongjiang Province)as a sample,and uses literature analysis,questionnaire survey,natural observation method,and interview to investigate the social adaptability of first-year students in rural areas Ability status.In the survey results,it is found that students generally suffer from social maladjustment.Since social adaptability is divided into many aspects,students' adaptability in different aspects is also different.The specific adaptation order is: interpersonal adaptation > environmental adaptation > psychological adaptation > rule adaptation > independence adaptation > task adaptation.Among them,students adapt best in interpersonal relationships and the ability to adapt to tasks is the worst.Students generally cannot remember homework,procrastination in writing homework and the tasks assigned by teachers can't be completed in time.The attribution of the status of first-year students' social adaptability is divided into three aspects: kindergarten,elementary school and family.Kindergarten: First,due to the backwardness of rural kindergarten education concepts,serious elementary schooling,and neglect of children 's psychological adaptability;second,the low professional quality of kindergartens and the lack of awareness of children 's task adaptability;third,the incomplete kindergarten facilities are not conducive to children 's interpersonal Communication skills development.Primary school: First,rural primary schools neglect the development of the connection between young and elementary schools;second,there is a significant difference between the management methods of the first grade and the kindergarten,which leads to children's poor adaptation to the rules;third,the primary school ignores the adaptation of the first grade students to the environment.Family: First,rural parents have a low level of education and lack correct educational concepts;second,parents are too spoiled,which hinders the development of children's independent adaptability;third,parents lack the development of children's ability to adapt to rules.In view of the problems existing in the development of social adaptability of rural children in the connection between young and elementary,the author proposes countermeasures from the levels of kindergarten,primary school and parents.For kindergarten: First,communicate with the elementary school regularly and jointly formulate a joint plan;Second,arrange an environment similar to the elementary school in advance to accelerate children's adaptation to the environment of the elementary school;Third,improve the professional quality of teachers and focus on the training of task adaptability.In the elementary school: First,attach importance to the connection of young children and actively carry out related activities;second,arrange a warm campus environment to let children fall in love with the environment at first sight;third,the management method should focus on connecting with kindergartens and help children gradually adapt to the rules of primary school.Parents: First,change the concept of education and seek appropriate social support;second,actively integrate into children's lives and focus on cultivating children's social adaptability;third,pay attention to teaching by example and teach children well.
