This study used meta-analysis to explore the current situation and individual differences of burnout and the relationship between psychological capital and job burnout of primary and secondary school teachers in china.through literature search and screening,a total of 264 studies were included,with a total samples of 96929.The results of meta-analysis show that:(1)Teachers in primary and secondary schools in China have job burnout,and scores of emotional exhaustion are relatively high.(2)There are differences of Job burnout in terms of marriage and whether it is a head teacher.Specific to each dimension,there are differences of emotional exhaustion in terms of gender,marriage and whether it is a head teacher.There are differences of depersonalization in terms of gender and whether it is a head teacher.The individual difference of reduced personal accomplishment is not significant.(3)There is significant negative correlation between psychological capital and job burnout.The negative correlation between teachers' psychological capital and depersonalization is higher,as well as reduced personal accomplishment.There is significant negative correlation between each dimension of psychological capital and each dimension of job burnout,hope is negatively correlated with reduced personal accomplishmentt to higher degree,optimism and emotional exhaustion is negatively correlated with higher degree,self-efficacy is negatively correlated with reduced personal accomplishment to higher degree,resilience is negatively correlated with reduced personal accomplishment to higher degree.(4)The current situation of teachers' job burnout is regulated by the types of subjects,the types of journal and the source of subjects.Gender differences are regulated by the source of subjects.The differences in marital status are regulated by the types of subjects,the measurement tools,the source of subjects.the differences in whether or not to serve as head teachers are regulated by the types of subjects.The regional differences are regulated by the types of subjects and the measurement tools.The relationship between psychological capital and the dimension of job burnout is regulated by publishing time.The relationship between each dimension of psychological capital and each dimension of job burnout is regulated by the types of subjects,measurement tools,journal type and publication time.Conclusion: job burnout exists in primary and secondary school teachers in China.There are significant individual differences in teacher burnout as well as the dimension of emotional exhaustion and depersonalization.but individual differences in the dimension of reduced personal accomplishment is not significant.Teachers' psychological capital is significantly negatively correlated with job burnout and the correlation coefficient is above moderate degree.At the same time,it is also necessary to consider the moderating effects of research characteristics on teacher burnout related research.
