It is a fine tradition of the Chinese nation to be brave,tenacious and enterprising.It is with the spirit of self-improvement that the Chinese people have created a splendid Chinese civilization.The cultivation of students' spirit of continuous self-improvement can help students develop the concept of self-reliance,enterprising and brave struggle,stimulate students' awareness of studying hard for national rejuvenation and national prosperity,and promote students to form a sound personality.In the history teaching of senior high school,cultivating the students' spirit of self-improvement is conducive to the implementation of the basic task of moral education and the core quality of history discipline,and conforms to the trend of new curriculum reform.With the advancement of the new curriculum reform,the history teaching has changed from the original emphasis on knowledge transfer to more and more emphasis on the cultivation of students' values,and the cultivation of students' self-improvement spirit,which is an important embodiment of the function of history discipline in educating people.However,through investigation,it is found that there are many difficulties in cultivating students' self-improvement spirit in history teaching: firstly,teachers attach too much importance to students' learning achievements and lack of enough attention to self-improvement spirit education;secondly,teachers' single teaching method is not conducive to the cultivation of students' self-improvement spirit;again,students lack of understanding of self-improvement spirit and self-improvement spirit Strong consciousness is weak.It can be seen that there is still a long way to go to cultivate students' self-improvement spirit through history teaching.In order to better cultivate the students' spirit of self-improvement,we can put forward countermeasures from the following three angles.First of all,teachers should choose a variety of teaching methods to cultivate students' awareness of self-improvement through teaching methods of historical materials,situational teaching methods and model demonstration methods;second,teachers should attach importance to students' subjectivity,adhere to the principle of emotional education and rational guidance,and guide students with "feeling" and "reason";again,teachers should properly carry out different types of extracurricular activities To make extracurricular activities and classroom teaching cooperate with each other,to create agood atmosphere of self-improvement,and to help students develop the ability of self-improvement.In addition,we should adhere to the principle of moderation in teaching,not only to prevent "over",but also to avoid "under".The cultivation of students' self-improvement spirit can not be completed overnight,and can not see the immediate effect in a short period of time.Teachers should fully tap and make good use of the self-improvement resource treasure house of history textbooks,infiltrate the self-improvement spirit into each history lesson,and cultivate students' self-improvement spirit in subtle influence.
