With the further development of curriculum reform,the cultivation of students’ geographical literacy has gradually become the focus of teaching.As the beginning of geography learning,teachers should adopt effective teaching methods to train students to form correct concepts and methods of geography learning.Drawing teaching can not only convey geographic information effectively,but also cultivate students’ spatial cognition ability and geographic practice ability.Therefore,drawing is of great significance to teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.Through reading the relevant literature,based on the research status and related theories of drawing teaching at home and abroad,questionnaire survey and interview were used to analyze the drawing teaching status in junior middle school stage.On this basis,combined with the background of curriculum reform,this paper explores the teaching strategies of geography drawing teaching in junior middle school from the aspects of teaching concepts,teaching methods and illustrates them with specific cases.The main research contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper defines the concept of drawing teaching and classifies the drawing by sorting out the relevant research results at home and abroad.Taking the geography textbook of junior middle school published by people’s education edition as an example,this paper analyzes the requirements of drawing teaching in the curriculum standards and the images in the teaching materials,and expounds the image types suitable for drawing teaching and the teaching significance of different types of images.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview are used to analyze the current situation of geography drawing teaching in junior middle school.Through the questionnaire survey of students and teachers,the application status of drawing teaching was mastered,and then the problems and causes of drawing teaching in practice were deeply understood by teacher interviews.The results show that there are some problems in the current drawing teaching,such as the weak drawing intention,the drawing ability to be improved,the need for further education,and the imperfect drawing guidance.The reasons for the existence of these problems include the low level of teachers,students and schools.Thirdly,aiming at the problems existing in the current teaching of geography drawing,this paper puts forward the teaching strategies of junior middle school geography drawing from the aspects of drawing skills,drawing consciousness,drawing guidance,activity design and daily teaching,specifically including: strengthening educational concern and improving teachers’ drawing skills;changing teaching concept to train the students’ practical ability in geography;designing classroom activities to stimulate students’ interest in drawing teaching;strengthening drawing guidance to develop good habits of students;enhancing the drawing of images,do have a picture in mind;linking the middle school entrance examination to narrow the gap between teaching and investigation.The effective mapping teaching strategy is corresponding to the specific content of the teaching material,which is highly targeted and provides reference for junior middle school geography teaching.Fourthly,on the basis of teaching strategies,combined with the content of geography teaching materials in junior middle school,the teaching design of typical cases is carried out,and the significance of geography drawing teaching for cultivating students’ geography literacy is analyzed. |
