| Representation is the central link of cognitive activities,and it is also the key to successfully solve mathematics problems.Improving students’ representation ability is one of the important ways to improve students’ ability to solve problems.As one of the six core literacy of mathematics,data analysis literacy has become a necessary mathematics ability for citizens to adapt to daily life and social life in the era of big data.Its essence is to use statistical knowledge to solve practical problems,and data analysis is a level improvement.Can not be separated from the ability to represent data.Therefore,it is particularly important to study the data representation ability of high school students and propose corresponding teaching strategies to solve the problem of"statistics" and improve the level of student data analysis literacy.Based on the analysis of existing literatures,this paper focuses on the data representation ability of high school students.Taking the data "statistics" module as an example,using literature research method,investigation research method and statistical analysis method,the construction of data representation and data representation The four aspects of initiative,data characterization and data representation are used to study the data representation level of high school students’ "statistics" module,and the SPSS25.0 statistical software is used to distinguish the data representation ability of different disciplines.analysis.According to the survey results,high school students have rational and correct data representation awareness,but the data after finishing can not be analyzed in depth;high school students have poor ability to convert data charts,and are used to analyzing raw data;high school When dealing with statistical problems,the data representation lacks diversity,and the analytical conclusions obtained are relatively one-sided.The presentation of data representation directly affects the high-level students’ data analysis literacy level;the construction of data representation in different disciplines of arts and sciences,the initiative of data representation,There is no significant difference in the diversity of data representation,and the presentation of data representation has significant differences in the literacy level of high school students.Taking the data "statistics" module as an example,the paper proposes the following teaching suggestions in mathematical statistics:In the teaching process,teachers should pay attention to the data representation in the data analysis process;An important activity in data analysis;guiding students to characterize data from multiple dimensions;and encouraging students to focus on the choice and transformation between forms of data representation.This paper puts forward some teaching suggestions in the teaching of mathematical statistics from the perspective of data representation.It hopes to provide some reference significance for promoting statistical teaching and improving students’ data analysis literacy level. |
