From the perspective of students' mathematics learning,it is inevitable for students to make "mistakes" in the problem solving process,and many scholars at home and abroad have emphasized the rationality of the existence of"mistakes".In fact,the "wrong" answer is in some ways more valuable than the right answer.Teachers can deeply study students' errors in the problem solving process,reasonably classify and explore the causes of errors,so as to work out a targeted error correction teaching strategy.In order to understand the problem solving errors of xinjiang senior high school students in the mainland,this paper analyzes the problem solving errors of 160 senior high school students in a school in Beijing,so as to bring some enlightenment to the teachers in senior high school.The high school students are in the transition stage of junior high school,the function is the core content of junior high school learning,and the function content is abstract,complex,students are prone to a variety of errors when solving the function problem,it is necessary to carry out error analysis on the function problem.Therefore,this paper identifies three practical problems with functions as the main content as the test topic.On the basis of sorting out and analyzing the research on problem solving errors at home and abroad,this paper determines the error analysis framework based on Newman and Ariyadi Wiijaya's error analysis theory,which is divided into first-level,second-level and third-level error types,among which the first-level error types are comprehension error,conversion error,mathematical processing error and result coding error.Analysis of the specific errors in solving problems in students in function,according to the error analysis framework will its classification,statistical number of various types of errors,according to the number of each type of errors of situation and distinguish between students in the main type,minor errors in the test types,analysis the reason for the error correction of put forward the corresponding teaching Suggestions.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)comprehension errors and conversion errors are the main problems for senior class students in function solving,and there is no significant difference between male and female students in error performance;(2)In terms of comprehension errors,students mainly solve problems by understanding key words incorrectly;(3)Among the conversion errors,the main errors are the model of problem solving program errors,and the conversion errors of urban students are significantly different from those of rural students in county towns;(4)Errors in mathematical processing are mainly calculation errors and algebraic errors;(5)In the result coding error,the result writing error is the main error.Based on the analysis of the causes of the main types of errors,this paper puts forward some Suggestions on correcting teaching:Firstly,Improve students'math reading comprehension.Secondly,Improve the function model building ability of students.Thirdly,strengthen the guidance and teaching of problem solving procedure.Fourthly,Teaching of basic knowledge of ramming function.Fifthly,the cultivation student good problem solving habit.
