| Martial arts,as an excellent traditional culture inherited by the Chinese nation to date,is the most splendid cultural treasure in China’s thousands of years of historical change.Martial arts,as a representative of national traditional items,has profound cultural and social values,and also has the role of promoting national spirit and improving national cohesion.Private colleges and universities are the product of the market economy and the lack of public education resources.It has opened up a new dimension of higher education running and met the needs of society.Therefore,the study of the development of martial arts teaching in private colleges and universities meets the needs of social development.This paper uses research methods such as literature and questionnaires to conduct a comprehensive investigation and analysis of the current situation of martial arts teaching in Harbin civilian-run colleges and universities.Through a comprehensive research and analysis of the current situation of martial arts teaching in Harbin civilian-run colleges and universities,the following conclusions are drawn:1.Martial arts courses are offered by private colleges and universities in Harbin,but the curriculum concept is backward and the curriculum structure is too monotonous;2.The martial arts teachers in Harbin civilian-run colleges tend to be younger,the teacher title structure is not perfect,and there is a serious shortage of professional martial arts teachers;3.Students ’cognition of martial arts is very different from the actual martial arts courses.The martial arts courses they hope to set up are basically inconsistent with the martial arts courses offered by the school.The students’ interest in them is insufficient,so they are less active in learning martial arts;4.The atmosphere of extra-curricular martial arts activities of Harbin Citizen-run colleges is not strong,the support of martial arts associations by schools is insufficient,and students lack the social and psychological recognition of martial arts culture;5.The martial arts venue facilities and teaching equipment of Harbin civilian-run colleges and universities cannot meet the basic martial arts teaching conditions and the needs of students’ extra-curricular martial arts activities.Based on the survey results of martial arts teaching in private colleges and universities in Harbin,the following feasibility suggestions are analyzed:1.Strengthen the teaching of martial arts theory to allow college students to understand martial arts culture correctly and rationally;2.Increase the introduction of high-quality,high-level and highly-educated professional martial arts talents,improve the overall level of martial arts teachers in private colleges,and meet the needs of modern college education;3.Enrich the teaching methods and methods of martial arts courses,correctly guide students to understand martial arts,enhance students ’interest in martial arts,and give full play to students’ subjective initiative;4.Private colleges and universities should participate in various martial arts competitions,increase exchanges between colleges and universities,and increase the influence of martial arts projects in schools;5.Harbin civilian-run colleges and universities should increase the expenditure on the infrastructure construction of martial arts teaching venues and teaching equipment,and improve the martial arts teaching environment. |
