The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening up,private higher learning institutions also stride forward with the tide of national reform and opening up and have realized breakthrough development from zero to one,amateur to regular.According to the official data released by the Ministry of Education of China in 2018,the number of private higher learning institutions?including independent colleges?in China has reached 746.In this opportunity,more and more youths enter into higher learning institutions to work as teachers.They have brought new ideas and vitality into the development of private colleges and universities.They played a vital role and have become the main force of the teacher team in private higher learning institutions.Teacher professional identity means teachers'perceptions and acceptance of the characteristics,goals,values,etc.in their job.It is also a positive perception of teachers about their job in terms of cognition,emotion,expectation and ability.The professional identity of young teachers in private higher learning institutions not only affects their professional development,professional loyalty and professional happiness,but also affects the stability and sustainable development of private higher learning institutions.In this study,young teachers at Z College were selected as subjects.Via questionnaires and interviews with individual young teachers,it was found that,the overall status of professional identity of young teachers at Z College was at a medium level.Of which,they had the lowest score in the external interaction dimension,which affects their work mood and work efficiency at Z College.The study also take the background information as the variable to perform a difference analysis and the results showed that,the professional identity of young teachers in Z College is significant different in gender,degree and teacher's seniority.The professional identity of young teachers in Z College isn't significant different in age,teaching subject,graduate school,professional title,and monthly average income.Finally,suggestions on promoting the professional identity of young teachers at Z College from the three aspects of society,school and teachers were put forward,which expected to contribute to the construction of the Z-college teaching staff and the improvement of the school educational quality.At the same time,the study want to provides reference for the development of human resources of young and middle-aged teachers in other private higher learning institutions.
