The Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan clearly states that it is of great significance to "strengthen the education of civic awareness,establish the concept of socialist democracy,the rule of law,freedom and equality,fairness and justice,and cultivate socialist qualified citizens." The realization of national modernization and national rejuvenation needs to be based on solid material civilization,the need for a modern political system as a guarantee,and the need for nationals with modern civic awareness.As a quasi-citizen of the country and a builder of future social development in China,young people have a good sense of citizenship,constantly improve their citizenship,and then participate in social construction as a qualified citizen.This is of great significance to the good and sustainable development of the individual and even the country..The key to promoting the construction of a harmonious socialist society lies in improving the quality of all citizens in China.Based on this,it is very necessary to fully implement citizenship education in primary and secondary education.The education of citizenship of primary and secondary school students is the basic education project for the Chinese nation to rejuvenate.The education of civic awareness of primary and secondary school students has been gradually reached consensus,and effective and effective activities to enhance the civic awareness of primary and secondary school students and corresponding social behaviors are urgently needed.Based on the implementation process of a civic education activity class in a primary school in Futian District,Shenzhen,this study explores the content of the civic education activity curriculum jointly organized by the “home school community” using participatory action research methods and in-depth interview methods.The method reflects on the significance of participatory action for the education of primary school students' civic awareness.
