Nap in kindergarten is a link that attracts many preschool educators ' attention in kindergarten's one-day activities.Researchers found in the practice observation of Class W in the R preschool that children have prominent difficulty falling asleep during nap.Therefore,this study defines the difficulty of falling asleep through literature and observation records,and refers to CSHQ scores.Twelve children aged 3-4 years old with difficulty of falling asleep in Class W are selected as the research objects to implement music intervention.Paired samples rank sum test and case analysis were carried out on the research data to explore the influence of music intervention on children with sleep difficulties.The research process is based on quasi-experiments,and data are collected by observation and questionnaire.The whole process is mainly divided into three stages.In the first stage,all the children in Class W of R Park were observed for three consecutive weeks(11 days of effective date)and were given questionnaires.According to the concept of difficulty in falling asleep,13 children with difficulty in falling asleep were selected as the research objects.In the second stage,a single music was played for three consecutive weeks(11 days on the effective day),while the subjects were observed and recorded during nap,including sleep latency and important events.In the third stage,music was stopped and the subjects were followed up for one week(effective days 5 days)to record their sleep without music.Finally,the records of the three stages are analyzed by combining descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.The results show that:1.The overall effect of music intervention on children with sleep difficulty is not significant;2.There are significant individual differences in the effects of music intervention on children with sleep difficulty.3.The effect of music intervention on children with difficulty falling asleep is affected by many factors.Based on the research conclusion,the researchers put forward suggestions from three angles of teachers,parents and kindergartens to solve the problem of difficulty in falling asleep:teachers should respect young children,create suitable nap environment and use music intervention strategies rationally;Parents need to pay attention to cultivate children's good sleep habits;Kindergartens can try to postpone nap time to bed.
