Excellent children's literature works accord with the characteristics of children's physical and mental development stage.It can create images,provide free space for thinking,and exert spiritual influence on children in full imagination.Using children's literature works to carry out effective narrative moral education can help children develop moral cognition and cultivate moral emotion in reading experience,it can also help prevent or correct children's moral deviant behaviors.This is of great theoretical and practical value to children's moral development.This study attempts to make up for the deficiency of rural primary school students in the spiritual growth process through children's literature reading,and explore the specific manifestations of children's literature reading on the moral enlightenment of rural primary school students.In order to achieve the research objectives,the researcher tried action research by choosing a primary school in the rural area of northern anhui province to carry out children's literature reading activities.The study object selects the fifth grade students of primary school.In this process,through questionnaire survey,collection of reading notes,interviews and other ways to obtain the research data,on the basis of data analysis to draw the conclusion of this study.The paper consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the origin of the study,the literature review on the value of moral Education in Children's Literature and the definition of the core concepts.The main part is presented according to the way of action research,Chapter one is the discovery and analysis of the problems,it explains the challenges faced by rural primary school students in moral development and Children's literature reading plays an insufficient role in the moral growth of rural primary school students.Based on the focus of the problems,the purpose of this action study is clarified.Chapter two is the research design,it introduces the program of this research activity,including research methods,participants,research stage design and so on.Chapter three presents the implementation process of the research,including the entry into the field,activity development,data collection and other processes.Chapter four,through the analysis of the relevant data,the concrete manifestation of the moral enlightenment of children's literature reading to the rural primary school students is obtained,and carry on reflection and summary to this research.This study finds that the reading of children's literature plays an important role in the development of rural elementary school students' moral cognition.Students can develop their moral sensitivity by understanding the content of the story,specifically expressed in the cognition and understanding of concern,friendship,sympathy,love,mutual assistance and other virtues.In addition,Children's literature reading can help rural primary school students develop their moral judgment and reflection ability.Through reading,students enrich their own experience of moral life,make moral judgments in different stories and reflect on their own morality.Finally,the moral enlightenment of children's literature reading to primary school students in rural areas mainly points to the following three aspects:peer contact,family relationship and personal growth.The distinctive characteristics of children's literature itself and the life experience of rural primary school students are the important factors to promote the above moral enlightenment.
