"Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)"(hereinafter referred to as "Standards")states:"The development of reasoning ability should be throughout the entire mathematics learning process.Reasoning is the basic way of thinking in mathematics,and is often used in people's learning and life.Way of thinking."[Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition)[S].Beijing:Beijing Normal University Press,2012.From the 2001 edition of the "Full-time Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards"(experimental draft)to the 2011 edition of the "Standards",reasoning ability has always been included as a core concept.It can be seen that the state attaches great importance to the development of the reasoning ability of students in the compulsory education stage.The elementary school stage is the basic stage and the key stage of the development of mathematical reasoning ability.Improving the ability of students to reason reasoning is helpful to cultivate students' innovative spirit.The development of students' deductive reasoning ability is beneficial to students' understanding of the essential connection of mathematical objects.The students of the school class have a good foundation for studying rigorous deductive reasoning.Based on the investigation of the importance and actual situation of the mathematics reasoning ability of primary school students,this study considers that it is feasible and certain educational value to investigate the status quo of mathematics reasoning ability of the second syllabus students.This study prepares the students of the second semester of primary school by preparing the mathematics reasoning ability test papers,investigates the students'mathematical geometry and visual ability status,and then through the analysis and analysis of the survey results,explores the current situation of primary school students' mathematical reasoning ability from multiple angles.The reason for the following conclusions:First,in the overall analysis of the results of students' mathematical reasoning evaluation,the level of students' mathematical reasoning ability is not high.From a structural point of view,students' level of deductive reasoning is low.Secondly,the analysis of the correlation between students' mathematical reasoning ability and mathematics scores shows that the level of students'mathematical reasoning is significantly related to their mathematics scores.Thirdly,there is no significant difference in the level of mathematical reasoning between boys and girls in the second semester of elementary school;there are significant differences in the mathematical reasoning ability of students of different grades,showing an increasing trend from low to high.Fourth,teachers' teaching methods are closely related to students' mathematical reasoning ability.Students prefer to have the opportunity to express their own ideas in class,and pay more attention to the teaching methods of students' thinking cultivation,which can better cultivate students' mathematical reasoning ability.Based on the investigation results,this study explores the causes of the students'mathematical reasoning ability through classroom observation and teacher interviews,and proposes strategies for improving the mathematics reasoning ability of primary school students.
