Today's society is a learning society.The shortening of the knowledge renewal cycle and the rapid growth of information volume have placed higher demands on people's learning.As the main place of study,the school is the main force to build a learning society.It is the core task of the school personnel training to train students to learn and have the ability to learn for life.However,what is not satisfactory is that the current learning situation of students is not optimistic,most of them stay in surface learning,and their learning ability and quality of learning need to be improved.Although the teaching reform has begun to lean toward deep learning,but the relevant research is not comprehensive,the pertinence and directivity are still unclear,and in practice it has little effect.The middle school stage is a crucial period for students to learn.After entering the middle school,the abstraction of learning content is greatly improved.Whether it is the knowledge of the meaning of knowledge or comprehensive application,it puts forward higher requirements,which coincides with the concept of deep learning.However,compared with primary school students and college students,middle school students,especially those in graduating classes,face tremendous pressure to go to school.The frequency of practice and examinations is much greater,so it is easier for them to fall into the whirlpool of mechanical training and excessive assignments tactic.In view of this,this research is based on the deep learning theory combined with the characteristics of middle school students' learning,and tries to answer the key question of "How to promote the deep learning of middle school students?"Therefore,this study first uses the literature method and the speculative method to analyze the deep learning,and analyzes the connotation,basic characteristics and process model of deep learning.As an important learning method proposed by contemporary learning science,deep learning promotes the development of students' high-level thinking ability through close contact with knowledge experience,deep understanding of knowledge concepts,systematic integration of knowledge structure,and active construction of knowledge systems.And finally students achieve the transform and use of knowledge in the real and complex situation.At the same time,by combing the relevant deep learning process models at home and abroad,this study constructs a deep learning process model for middle school students.Moreover,as a learning concept,deep learning is not a castle in the air,but has a profound theoretical foundation.Bloom's taxonomy of educational objectives interprets deep learning,constructivist theory supports deep learning,and situated learning theory reveals deep learning,while metacognition theory is the thinking feature of deep learning.On the basis of studying the relevant theories of deep learning,this paper adopts thequestionnaire survey method to investigate 833 students in 3 middle schools(including junior high school,senior high school and complete middle school)in Q city from nine dimensions,including learning participation,and integration and transformation.The results show that: First of all,the overall level of deep learning of middle school students is general.Most students are still in the transitional stage from surface learning to deep learning.Secondly,although the level of deep learning of boys is slightly higher than that of girls,there is no significant difference in the level of gender affecting students' deep learning.Thirdly,students' level of deep learning is obviously different with different learning stages,and the level of deep learning of senior high school students is lower than that of junior high school students.Finally,there are significant differences in the level of deep learning among students of different grades.It should be noted that the development of students' deep learning is not achieved overnight,and it cannot be separated from the joint efforts of teachers and students.Therefore,in response to the questions reflected in the survey,the author contacted the relevant theories of deep learning and tried to answer “How to promote deep learning of middle school students?” On the one hand,teachers should design coherent teaching objectives and courses,create a positive learning culture;pay more attention to the activation of students' background knowledge,guide students to participate in learning;also design a variety of processing strategies to evaluate students' learning process.On the other hand,students should learn to use cognitive tools to clarify responsibility and cooperative learning.In addition,they should carry out in-depth reflection,integrate multiple evaluations,and acquire high-level thinking;eventually,they should point to real problems and realize migration.
