Influencing individual attention to multiple goals and tracking has been a hot topic for many scholars in dynamic psychology. In team sports, previous studies have shown that compared with non-professional athletes who have not been engaged in sports, professional athletes have better visual attention ability. With the increase of the number of target tracking, the accuracy of multi-target tracking, professional athletes for non-professional athletes show a very significant difference, and with this difference decreasing linearly. In competitive sports, basketball is one of the sports with high similarity with multi-target tracking tasks.Basketball players should always pay high attention to the ever-changing game scenes on the basketball court.Attackers on the court should not only pay attention to the position of defensive players, prevent opponents from coming to grab the ball, but also pay attention to the position of teammates on the court,so as to pass a better pass to get the chance of scoring.Basketball players often need to pursue multiple dynamic goals at a point in time, update the instant information of targets at different positions, switch between goals and non-goals at any time, and make decisions. Therefore,in recent years, scholars at home and abroad have done a lot of research in the field of basketball by using the multi-objective paradigm and its variants, which has become one of the main means to study the attention rule and characteristics of basketball. However, for basketball referees who are also engaged in multi-target tracking tasks, this is still very unclear.Basketball referees also play an important role in team sports, and in the field of target tracking is no less than that of basketball players. This study assumes that excellent basketball referees have better multi-target tracking ability as the number of target tasks increases.CONCLUSION:(1)The number of target balls has a significant impact on the tracking accuracy of the subjects. The smaller the number of target balls, the higher the accuracy. This trend decreases linearly with the increase of the number of target balls.(2)High-level basketball referees have excellent multi-objective visual tracking ability. And as the number of traces increases, this advantage becomes particularly significant.Suggestions:(1)The classical MOT paradigm of multi-objective tracking can provide theoretical basis for the training and selection of basketball referees.(2)The accumulation of high-level,high-intensity competition and long-term refereeing experience is conducive to the enhancement of basketball referees' multi-target tracking ability.(3)Excellent basketball referees have stronger reaction ability and keen judgment ability. And as a group, the responding stability is higher than that of non-referees.
