With the continuous development of society,China has entered an aging society,and education for the aged has aroused widespread concern from the government and society.All districts in Shanghai have accelerated the construction of old-age universities,aiming at solving some social problems brought about by the rapid growth of the elderly population,providing educational services for the elderly and enriching their elderly lives,and promoting the vigorous development of lifelong education.This study mainly relies on the needs of learning needs and relies on the key projects of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission.The purpose is to study the learning needs of older students at the university for the aged in Shanghai,and propose corresponding suggestions and strategies based on the research results.The author designs questionnaires from the basic information,learning characteristics,curriculum content requirements,teaching model needs,teaching facilities needs,class scheduling requirements,teacher resource requirements,and happiness and satisfaction surveys of older students of university for the aged in Shanghai.The students of the university for the aged conducted an investigation.At the same time,interviews were conducted with faculty members and older students of universities for the aged in Shanghai.The study found that universities for the aged in Shanghai have different levels of deficiencies in terms of curriculum content,teaching mode,teaching facilities,class schedule and teacher resources,while the degree of happiness and satisfaction of older students in school is positively correlated.In addition,based on the background of informatization,the author mainly studies the new learning needs of older students from the aspects of information technology tools and information security awareness,and comprehensively analyzes the learning needs of contemporary students of universities for the aged.Studies have shown that the current information technology capabilities of the elderly cannot closely follow the rapid development of social information,and there are hidden dangers in information security to some extent.Finally,based on the analysis results,the author puts forward corresponding suggestions and strategies from the government and society,schools and elderly students and their families.
