Objective: After meniscus injury of the knee joint, the motor function will be limited. With time going by,the muscle strength and balance ability of the muscle group around the knee joint will be reduced correspondingly. In this paper,whole-body Vibration Training(WBVT)is combined with conventional rehabilitation Training to study the effect of Whole Body Vibration Training on the balance ability and iso-velocity muscle force of knee meniscus injury after arthroscopy,so as to provide an auxiliary therapy for the rehabilitation of patients with meniscus injury after arthroscopy. Methods: Twenty-four patients(male or female)with knee meniscus injury after arthroscopic surgery were selected from sports hospital affiliated to chengdu sports university, and the informed consent was signed before the experiment.Twenty-four patients were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, with 12 patients in each group. The experiment was carried out from the 9th week after surgery. The control group received 8 weeks of static squatting training, exercising 3times a week for 30 min each time(20 seconds for each group,10 s of rest,a total of60 groups),and routine postoperative rehabilitation training. In the experimental group,on the basis of the same routine rehabilitation training, the whole body vibration training was added. The specific training method was as follows: the vibration frequency was selected as low frequency 30 Hz with a vibration amplitude of 3mm,and the training lasted for 8 weeks. The subjects exercised 3 times a week for 30 min each time(each group lasted for 20 seconds and rested for 10 s,a total of 60groups).Balance ability(LOST,DC,SI,APSI,MLSI),knee isokinetic muscle strength(peak moment of flexor and extensor,flexor/extensor ratio, muscle endurance)were tested before,4 weeks after and 8 weeks after training. In this paper, the 8-week WBV training method was used to analyze the effect of WBV on the balance ability and isokinetic muscle strength of the knee joint after arthroscopy for meniscus injury.Results:1.The ability to balance different degrees,as shown in the following:balance is found in the group and experimental group patients WBV training after 8weeks,attitude stability limit test completion time, the contralateral SI and SI side, side A/P,the contralateral M/L and one side M/L has significant difference compared with before training(P < 0.05),the average direction control ability compared with before training is highly significant difference(P < 0.01);In the control group,8weeks after training, the completion time of posture stability limit test,SI on the healthy side,SI on the sick side, and M/L on the healthy side were significantly different from those before training(P < 0.05),and the average direction control ability was highly significantly different from that before training(P < 0.01).2.The same knee isokinetic muscle strength increased significantly,as shown in the following: knee isokinetic muscle strength comparison found that the experimental group patients WBV training within the group after 8 weeks, the knee joint the contralateral extensor peak torque, with bilateral extensor peak torque,of flexor peak torque, lateral bending/stretching ratio and risk of flexor muscle fatigue, the contralateral flexor muscle fatigue index had significant differences compared with before training(P < 0.05),the knee joint with bilateral extensor fatigue index compared with before training is highly significant difference(P < 0.01);In the control group,8 weeks after the training, the peak torque of the flexor muscles on the uninjured side of the knee joint and the fatigue index of the extensor muscles on the uninjured side were significantly different from those before the training(P <0.05).By comparing the knee isokinetic muscle strength groups,it was found that the peak torque of flexor muscle on the affected side, the peak torque of extensor muscle on the affected side and the fatigue index of extensor muscle on the affected side 8weeks after WBV training in the experimental group were significantly different from those in the control group(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The whole body vibration training can promote the postural stability limit test time, average direction control ability, healthy side SI and patient side SI,healthy side M/L and patient side M/L in the postoperative balance ability of patients with knee meniscus injury after arthroscopy.Meanwhile, among the isokinetic muscle force parameters, the peak torque of the healthy side extensor muscle of the knee joint, the peak torque of the affected side extensor muscle, and the peak torque of the affected side flexor muscle;Flexion/extension ratio; The change of fatigue index of flexor muscle on the affected side and flexor muscle on the uninjured side, the whole body vibration training is better than the routine training in improving the maximum strength and muscle endurance of the knee joint on the affected side. Therefore, the whole body vibration training can be used as an auxiliary rehabilitation method for patients with knee meniscus injury after arthroscopy.
