The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in the Great Hall of the people in Beijing in October 2017."Socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,” President Xi made it clear in the meeting report.This political judgment accurately reflects the historic changes in the cause of the party and the country.In the course of the development of human society,each era has different connotations.In colleges and universities,the era endows colleges and universities with different missions,and colleges and universities also shoulder different responsibilities.The inner essence of construction is the process of re-understanding and re-interpreting a kind of thing,and discourse is the essential element of communication between college teachers and students.As a result,In the context of the new era,it is an inevitable requirement for the in-depth development of ideological and political education to explore the causes of communication barriers between college teachers and students,to explore the obstacles in communication behaviors and to study the development rules.Based on the background of China entering the new socialist era,this paper follows the latest theoretical achievement of the Sinicization of Marxism--Xi Jinping thought on Socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Through a clear understanding of the ideological and political education discourse system in colleges and universities in the educational practice of the severe challenges and serious analysis of the development opportunities encountered after entering the new era,this paper further discusses the four dimensions of the construction of ideological and political education discourse system in colleges and universities in the new era.
