The training of innovative talents has always been widely paid attention to by all sectors of society,and the research of students’ innovative thinking has produced many meaningful teaching theories and methods in the field of middle school mathematics education.However,in the course of practical mathematics classroom teaching,teachers pay more attention to the training of students’ basic knowledge and basic skills,and neglect the training of students’ innovative thinking.It is worth to study why students lack the ability to think innovative and how to change the situation.To solve these questions,this paper choose fresh students of the number twelve high middle school of Taiyuan to carry on the questionnaire survey,and do statistics and analysis the results of questionnaire survey,and on this basis to interview individual students and teachers of mathematics one-to-one,in order to obtain more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the current situation of the development of innovative thinking of high school students.The survey results show that the most important reason for the above problems is that teachers have not found the balance between the basic knowledge of mathematics,the basic skills and the cultivation of students’ innovative thinking.Through the reading of literature of open mathematics questions,thinking that open mathematics questions can be used as a balance point between them,therefore,this paper tries to through the concrete examples to illustrate the high school mathematics open questions’ application in the aspect of training students’ innovative thinking.This paper is divided into five parts to discuss the application of mathematics open questions in high school students’ innovative thinking cultivation.The first part is the introduction,introduces the background and significance of this research topic,summarizes the research status of this research at home and abroad,and explains the specific methods of this research.The second part is the theoretical basis of this research,this paper includes two aspects of content,it is the theoretical basis of mathematics creative thinking,mainly discusses the conception,characteristic and its three basic of mathematics creative thinking;The second is the theoretical basis of high school mathematics open question,including the concept,classification andteaching principle of high school mathematics open question.The third part is on the base of reading literature and develop questionnaires to investigate and analysis the present situation of students’ creative thinking development,and through interviewing teachers and students to get further understanding of the actual situation.The fourth part in view of the problems of investigation arising from the current situation of the development of high school students’ innovative thinking,combined with concrete examples,to indicate the application of high school open mathematics questions in the aspect of training students’ innovative thinking.The fifth part makes a systematic summary of this research and reflects the deficiencies in the research,and points out the direction for subsequent research.
