At present, junior middle school physics textbooks present the situation of "One standard and multiple books".Although different versions of textbooks are compiled according to curriculum standards, due to regional differences and subjective factors, the phenomena inevitably exists that textbooks are inconsistent with curriculum standards. Therefore, the evaluation of the quality of textbooks is particularly important.Through quantitative analysis of different versions of physics textbooks, this paper explores the consistency between textbooks and curriculum standards to provide a reference for the compilation of textbooks and teaching of physics in some degree. This paper selects six versions of junior middle school physics textbooks(Suco Edition,PEP,Education Edition,Beijing Normal University Edition,Shanghai edition,Shanghai and Guangdong)and junior middle school physics curriculum standards(?Standards for Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum(2011 Edition)?)to make a comparative research with curriculum standards on consistency. The research process of this paper is as follows.Firstly, based on the quantitative models of curriculum difficulty of Ningzhong Shi,Fanzhe Kong, and Shuwen Li,this paper conducts a comparative analysis of the three dimensions of the breadth, depth, and difficulty of the curriculum,to draw relevant conclusions. Then the calculation of the Porter's consistency coefficient of these six editions of junior middle school physics textbooks and curriculum standards is accomplished by using SEC analysis mode and the Porter consistency coefficient calculation formula. The above data and comparative analysis are used to draw conclusions. The study finds that in terms of curriculum breadth, curriculum depth, and curriculum difficulty, the consistency of the six versions of junior middle school physics textbooks and curriculum standards is not high. The breadth, depth and the difficulty of the curriculum are higher than those of curriculum. From the calculated Porter consistency coefficient,it suggests that there was a statistically significant level of agreement between the contents of the Suko edition,Beijing Normal University edition,Shanghai and Guangdong edition, and the Shanghai edition of the junior middle school physics textbook and the "Course Standards" at a significance level of 0.05.In addition, there is relatively low level of consistency between the People's Education Press, the textbook junior high school physics textbook, and the "Course Standards."Based on the above study, this paper puts forward preliminary proposals in order to improve the degree of consistency between junior middle school physics textbooks and curriculum standards.Firstly, the related contents in curriculum should be more specific and clear.Secondly, the editors of textbooks need to have a careful and thorough understanding of curriculum standards. Finally, the difficulty of textbooks needs to be properly handled.
