Since the beginning of the 21st century,researchers have rapidly increased the research on the teaching of fiction,but they have paid less attention to the teaching of contemporary novels in middle schools.Through investigation and research and interviews,it is found that there are many areas in modem and contemporary fiction teaching that deserve to be improved.It is of practical significance to explore the teaching of modern contemporary novels in middle schools.The thesis first expounds the concepts of fiction and modern and contemporary fiction teaching,summarizes the features of contemporary fiction,and follows the article through literature analysis and questionnaires to illustrate the teaching value of modern and contemporary fiction and the status of modern and contemporary fiction in actual teaching.Secondly,the dissertation analyzes the current situation of modem and contemporary fiction teaching.The paper analyzes the achievements of contemporaiy modem fiction teaching,sorts out the selection and compilation of modern and contemporary fictions,and then points out the problems existing in contemporary fiction from teaching content,evaluation methods,teaching perspectives,etc.,and from teachers and Students analyze the causes of these problems in two aspects.Thirdly,the article puts forward the basis of modern and contemporary fiction teaching,points out the stylistic features of the novel,students'studies,and new curriculum standards.The background of the novel's unit and novel is the four aspects that modern and contemporary fiction should serve as a basis for teaching.Finally,aiming at the above existing problems and the analysis of the problems,the author adopts the case analysis method and the comparative research method,and proposes the countermeasures for the teaching of modern and contemporary novels.From the aspect of teachers,we should be immersed in intensive thinking,and should also be courageous in reforming.We should reform the modern contemporary classroom by broadening teaching content,skillfully laying out backgrounds,"Defamiliarization teaching","Classroom left over",and method guidance.From the school's point of view,it is possible to open elective courses for modern and contemporary novels.The article proposes some reference measures for the establishment of modern and contemporary fictional elective courses from the aspects of current and contemporary fiction teaching content,student learning methods,and evaluation methods.
