Russian literature matured in the 19th century and then played a crucial role in the birth and development of modern Chinese literature. The influence of Russian literature can be seen in the works of many Chinese writers. In addition to the all-around imitation and study of the Soviet Union in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Russian election was almost the only one of the foreign texts in the Chinese textbooks for middle schools. This phenomenon continued until the textbooks in the new period were substantially changed. However, even if Russian textbooks are gradually shrinking, the role and status of Russian literature should not be marginalized. This article reviews related literature, reviews the development history of Russian literature, and summarizes the unique artistic value of Russian literature. It then analyzes the evolution of Russia’s selection of texts in PEP teaching materials through intuitive data,as well as the underlying reasons behind evolution, and proposes feasible suggestions for the selection of future Russian textbooks. Finally, through careul reading of the text,in the three types of Russian poetry, fiction and prose in the current textbooks, representative texts were selected for interpretation and instructional design. This study aims to re-recognize Russia’s texts in middle school language textbooks and explore effective teaching methods to help teachers faced with Russian language selection in teaching practice. |
