Research On Geography Teaching In Junior Middle Schools In Small Classes

With the continuous progress of science and technology,the rapid development of society,traditional teaching concepts,teaching methods and organizational forms of teaching has been unable to meet the requirements of modern society,class size is too large is on,e of them.Small class teaching is a form of organization in "which teachers and students carry out educational activities in relatively small classes.is one of the most important measures for students to enjoy a fuller,fairer and better education,which is consistent with the educational idea of the new curriculum,respects the students ’ differences and comprehensively promotes the quality education.In the study of small class teaching,foreign main focus on reducing the relationship between class size and student achievement,in our country,the teaching of small classes mainly in primary school research,the content is mainly theoretical analysis and teaching practice of the summary and experience,lack of a special subject for the junior high school.Based on the geographical discipline,according to the characteristics of geography,using the new geography teaching idea,taking the new geography curriculum standard as the criterion,this paper discusses from two aspects of theory and practice,analyzes the feasibility of implementing small class teaching in junior middle School geography course and the principle and characteristics of small class teaching.This article uses the literature research,research,case study,and other methods,on the basis of combing the current situation of the teaching research at home and abroad,based on the relevant pedagogy,the theoretical basis of psychology,under the guidance of the new concept of basic curriculum reform,combined with the experience in geography teaching,put forward group cooperation,layered teaching,Autonomous learning and other teaching organization forms and red pen into the classroom,two times correction,electronic whiteboard and other teaching methods.In the teaching practice of small classes of teaching ideas and teaching methods.Small class teaching provides a good welcome for the cultivation of students ’ creative ability in the science teaching,and teachers can create the situation of the problem,stimulate the spark of creative thinking,try to creat the atmosphere for the students,and let the students learn to innovate in their own learning.On the basis of the remarkable achievements in small class teaching,I also put forward my own reflection and suggestion on the teaching of small class,and would like to arouse everyone’s enthusiasm and practice in small class teaching research.
