Migrant children,as a special group in China's current society,face problems that are also one of the main problems in our current society.Floating children,especially those who are in the primary stage of compulsory education;They are more flexible than their peers,and need to adapt to the changes in their lives in real time.This special group of migrant children is in a critical period of development;and they face a special living and learning environment.It has a profound influence on their life and study.Because of their particularity;they have great problems in physical and mental health,moral quality,academic level and so on.As a teacher,the author is very concerned about these problems faced by "floating children",and as a primary school language teacher,I have a more sympathetic understanding of the reading problems of migrant children.It plays an important role in the formation and development of a person's character.With the development of education reform,extracurricular reading has been paid more and more attention by teaching experts,scholars,teachers,parents and students.The influence of extracurricular reading on Chinese learning of floating children is self-evident.After collecting and reading a lot of relevant research materials at home and abroad,the author found that the current situation of the floating children's reading environment in our school is not optimistic.There are at least four problems:first,the floating children have less reading time,Reading quantity is not enough,reading interest in literary works is not strong;second,the consciousness of independent reading is weak,lack of planning,third,teachers and parents lack of reading guidance and communication to floating children;Fourthly,the utilization rate of floating children to the social public library resources is low.In view of the above existing situation and problems,the author creates a harmonious and warm family reading environment and creates a good family reading atmosphere.To do a good job in the exchange and communication of home-school cooperation,and to unite the forces of society,school,and family.It is hoped that this study will be helpful to the study of the reading environment of migrant children.
