Under the background of the new curriculum reform,we should pay attention to the cultivation of students' geography core accomplishment,and put forward higher requirements for students' geography learning.As an important part of geographical knowledge,the concept of geography is the key for students to master the laws of geography and solve geographical problems.Under the present teaching system,students have difficulties in learning geographical concepts.Based on constructivism,meaningful learning theory and information processing theory,this paper organically combines the strategy of leading organizer with the teaching of geography concept in senior high school to provide theoretical guidance for the teaching of geography concept in senior high school and to help students solve their learning obstacles.Taking the senior middle school of Zhidan County in Yan'an as an example,this paper investigates 168 students and 13 geography teachers on the present situation of geography concept teaching in senior high school by means of questionnaire,and combines the application advantage of the leading organizer.This paper discusses the feasibility and effectiveness of the advance organizer in geography concept teaching.According to the learning psychology and teaching rules,this paper probes into the design principles,methods and key steps of the leading organizers in the geography concept teaching,and carries on the teaching case design and teaching practice in combination with the geography teaching material required in the human education edition.Using statistical analysis method and classroom observation method to evaluate teaching practice and summarize the core problems and points for attention in the process of teaching implementation.The study found that:(1)It is feasible and effective to apply the strategy of advance organizer to geography concept teaching.The results show that the concept of geography is difficult to understand and difficult to understand in teaching.The traditional classroom teaching is teacher-centered and does not attach importance to students' existing knowledge and experience,which makes it difficult for students to establish contact with the original cognitive structure,and can not actively construct new knowledge,so there are difficulties in conceptual learning.The strategy of leading the organizer can provide a guiding material for the students,realize the effective connection between the new concept and the original cognitive structure,promote the students' understanding and mastery of the new knowledge,and increase the students' interest in learning in a variety of forms.It can effectively solve the student geography concept learning disabilities.(2)The leading organization strategy of effective geography concept teaching lies in four key steps.According to the learning psychology and teaching law,the design emphasis of the leading organizer in the geography concept teaching is to grasp four key steps:to make clear the teaching goal,to analyze the learner's characteristics,to select the appropriate geographical concept and to select the appropriate advance organizer.The core and key point of "clear teaching goal" is to define the position of teaching material and analyze teaching goal.The core and key point of Learner's characteristic Analysis is to analyze students' learning style and original knowledge structure.And it is necessary to select appropriate materials and presentation methods according to the characteristics of geographical concepts and learners.In the teaching of geographical concept,the principle that the design leading organizer should abide by:the principle of relevance,the principle of subjectivity,the principle of flexibility and diversity,the principle of reality and the principle of maneuverability.(3)The result of teaching effect evaluation shows that the overall effect of the first organizer strategy is outstanding,and there are differences between the students and the teaching content.Based on the specific design method of the advance organizer strategy,three typical teaching cases are designed for the content of the first section of the second chapter of the compulsory edition.Through the effect test and classroom observation of the students,the following conclusions can be drawn:? the teaching strategy of the advance organizer is helpful for the students to understand and maintain the concept of geography.It can effectively realize the link between old and new knowledge.? The teaching strategies of the leading organizers have different effects on the students at different levels,especially on the improvement of the learning achievement of the middle and lower class students,and on the middle and upper class students.? As the leading organizers,videos and experiments are more likely to arouse students' attention,stimulate students' learning motivation,improve their interest in geography learning and improve their learning self-confidence.? In the process of implementation,attention should be paid to dealing with six teaching links.Improving the teaching efficiency:the organizer is different from the classroom introduction,flexible use of teaching media,pay attention to the feedback information of students,create a relaxed classroom atmosphere,reasonable allocation of classroom time,combined with the actual situation of students.
