Geometry is one of the earliest educational subjects.With a long history,geometry still occupies a very important position in the mathematics curriculum.The junior high school stage is the compulsory education stage.It is a critical period for the development of students' geometrical thinking and logical reasoning ability.The grade eight is a watershed.Only a good geometrical proof in the middle school can lay a solid foundation for high school education.During the internship,students were found to have many obstacles in the geometric proof process,affecting the development of junior school students' level of geometrical thinking and logical thinking.Therefore,it is of practical value to study junior high school students' obstacles in the process of geometrical proof.In this study,the level of geometric thinking in the junior school students was tested by the Fan Hill geometrical level test paper.Through literature surveys,the existing theoretical studies were consulted to provide a theoretical basis for the study.Through the internship process and the exchanges with the front-line teachers,it is found that students mainly need to break through the concept,graphics,language,logic and strategy.As for the obstacles junior school students have in the process of geometric proof learning,We are aimed at improving students' geometrical proof level and developing students' logical reasoning ability.Therefore,this study presents the corresponding strategy:1.When teachers teach the concepts of geometric concepts and theorems,they must use appropriate variant teaching to highlight the essence of the concepts and facilitate students' understanding of memory.2.For the proof of geometric theorem or property,let the students experience the process of observation,measurement,experimentation,conjecture,and proof.3.For the application of concepts,theorems or properties,teachers should reasonably and scientifically design examples and practice questions according to the actual situation and the students' cognitive level.4.In the teaching process,teachers must infiltrate some geometric proof methods.For example,analytical methods,comprehensive methods,anti-evidence methods,the same law,etc.,to improve students' geometrical proof skills.5.Make reasonable use of Geometry Sketchpad to assist in teaching,active classroom atmosphere,and enhance students' intuitive experience.At the end of the study,the proposed teaching strategy was partially verified.The results showed that it was more effective for middle school students,and the effect was not very significant for the students with excellent and poor performance.
