A Study On Guiding Strategies For Children's Music Area Activities At 5-6 Years Old

Based on the theme of regional music activities of children aged 5-6 years,this study explored the guiding strategies of teachers in regional music activities.Taking a class in a kindergarten in Nanjing as an example,the study investigated the regional music activities of children aged 5-6 years by observation and object analyses,which revealed the problems in the regional music activities.Based on this,the researcher used the method of action research to study regional music activities,and finally solved the problems through three rounds.This paper reviewed the whole process and puts forward some effective suggestions for teachers to support children aged 5-6 years old in music regional activities.The research is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is the preparation of action research.After in-depth interviews and observations on teachers,it was found that the main reason for these problems was the lack of teachers’ observation and support.According to the previous analysis,the problem to be solved in this action study is:what measures can teachers take to support children’s activities in the regional music?The second part is the implementation of action research,and the researcher conducted three rounds of action research.The first round was putting materials,which leads to creation.The researcher found that young children were interested in the creation of poem in "eight puppies carrying sedan chairs".After singing experience foreshadowing,putting materials into the music area and summarizing,finally it appeared a new question:the material putted in was too difficult.In order to solve the problems,the researcher designed and implemented a second round of practice.The second round of action research was to adjust the materials and stimulate the interest of young children.The researcher found that young children were interested in creative action.Through adjusting materials,transferring of teaching experience and summarizing,the results was that the creative activities of the music area increased.However,there were also a new problem:children can’t conduct various activities in the music area,so the young children lost interest easily,and the lack of materials was the main reason for the loss of interest.Therefore,the researcher carried out the third round of action research.The third was to increase materials and stimulate various activities.Through the preparation of percussion experience,adding materials,the results of the study solved the problem in the second round.The activities of the children in the area were enriched and comprehensive.After three rounds of practice,the activities in the music area of the class were mainly imitated.From a single activity to a creative and comprehensive activity,it solved the problems in regional music activities and achieved the purpose of research.The third part is summary and reflection.Firstly,the researcher summarized the implementation effect of the action research.The results showed that this study promoted the regional music activities of class from being single,imitating,to being creative,comprehensive;promoted the development of children’s musical ability;developed children’s ability to solve problems.Secondly,the researcher putted forward educational suggestions:teachers should recognize the role of in the music area,be good at observation;use materials to support the activities of young children;appropriate group teaching activities to support the regional music activities;step by step to promote activities,fully explore a variety of possibilities.Finally,the researcher reflected on the whole action research,find own professional growth.
