| Effective means of teaching and learning method as physical model is,through questionnaires for students and teachers in high school,it is not fit for biology teaching in high school.The research on the influence of physical model on concept teaching is relatively few.Therefore,not only in the theoretical level but also in practice does this project have certain reference value for the teaching of physical model in biology in high school.In this project,we use physical modeling to construct teaching methods as independent variables,and take students’ concept mastery as well as classroom observation indicators such as students’ academic achievements,learning methods and interest in learning as dependent variables.In the course of the study,two elective classes taught by the author are taken as the research object.In the early stage,the cognition of the whole city’s biology teachers on physical model teaching and the investigation of two classes of students’ biology learning were carried out so as to provide references for the subjects.In the process of the study,the concept of model and physical model through literature research were defined.The classification criteria of physical model was determined and the classification of physical model teaching content for senior high school biology textbooks of the compulsory module from the People’s Education Publishing House was categorized;Through the educational practice,the general steps and the basic principles of the construction of physical model was concretely under operation.Meanwhile,the related elaboration was explained through three teaching cases,which respectively expounds the physical model construction based on the history of science,analogical reasoning and the explicit thinking so as to break through the difficulties of concept teaching effectively.Finally,through the questionnaire to test the students whether they found positive changes in the cognition of the physical model and in learning style and interest,we come to conclusion that building physical model teaching method is superior in comparison with pre-test and post test in academic achievement.The result preliminarily showed that physical model teaching method can attribute to the change of students’ learning style and strengthen learning interest,and it can improve the efficiency of concept teaching and their academic performance.At the same time,it also cultivates core literacy of biology and enhances their key competences in biology. |
