With the rapid development of modern science and technology,the information devices driven by program have been used frequently,and Algorithm thinking has become one of the key competences of information technology,which the modernist must have.Artificial intelligence and programing education will be planned into the campus,which has been written in the national development project.Algorithm thinking training,as the core of programming teaching,has been focused by schooling.According to New information technology curriculum for Chinese basic education,we know algorithm and problem solving,program structure and design have become two modules of the teaching contents.Students should be able to understand the algorithm problems in real life and design the programs to some simple ones,so that their Algorithm thinking can be improved during the process of programing.However,because upper grade students of primary school have a lower level in cognitive ability,logical and abstract thinking,thinking activities still need the support of concrete phan.It is a bit difficult to train students' algorithm thinking only on programing tools.Based on the actual conditions of students,the student-centered principle and Scratch program teaching,I combine life situation and algorithm thinking to start teaching design.In the course of curriculum implementation,I lead students into the predetermined situational context and arouse students' interest in learning through questioning the problems of the context.I also use some visible software like flow block and mind map,some forms of exchanges like thinking aloud,cooperation,and works sharing,which can help students understand algorithm logically.What's more,according to theory of constructivism teaching,I use formative and summative assessments to monitor students' learning effect,and to improve teaching and learning dynamically as well.The four-month experiment shows that Scratch teaching design based on life situation can improve pupils' algorithm thinking level effectively.This kind of teaching design include four main aspects:(1)Scratch teaching design on the life situation can improve pupils' ability of solving problems into steps effectively.(2)Scratch teaching design on the life situation can improve pupils' ability of the visual expression effectively.(3)Scratch teaching design on the life situation can develop pupils' creative thinking effectively.(4)Scratch teaching design on the life situation can improve the optimization ability of the pupils' algorithm effectively.Through this research,I hope that we can arouse the attention of front educators for algorithm thinking teaching,help more students learn programing easily and happily,and train more innovative talents in the future.
