The learning stage of senior high school plays an irreplaceable role during the process of young people’s growth.The students at this stage are at the end of the puberty,and the development of physiological and psychological are in the transition state from teenage to adulthood.The learning at this stage will be affected by all kinds of factors around them.However,the relationship between teachers and students is the most common one for students at this stage,and it will play a vital role in all aspects of the students.As a special social interpersonal relationship,it is a multi-natured and multi-level relationship system formed by teachers and students to achieve the goal of education and to communicate through teaching and learning with their own unique identity and status.With the constant change of educational concept and system,the relationship between teachers and students is also changing constantly.As an important indicator of learning and teaching achievement,the quality of academic performance of students directly reflects the quality of education and teaching.Especially in senior high school,teachers and students are paying close attention to it.This article is to explore the relationship between the teacher-student relationship and academic performance in senior high school,by taking the《Student-Teacher Relationship Scale-Biology volume》as a research tool.2324 senior high school students in 8 full time high schools in Nanjing and Changzhou,Jiangsu Province were selected for the study.By means of correlation analysis,regression analysis and other methods by sorting out the data of Excel and SPSS.22.0,we can understand the relationship between teachers and students and the academic status of the students,the structure of the relationship between teachers and students,the relationship between teachers and students and academic achievement,and the influence of the relationship between teachers and students on academic achievement,etc.The data shows that:1.At present,in the senior high school stage,the relationship between teachers and students is in a more harmonious state,and the relationship between teachers and students is harmonious,with fewer conflicts and more communication.2.There is a significant correlation between teacher-student relationship and academic achievement(Sigwhoie<0.01).3.The intimacy dimension(R2=0.152)and the avoidance dimension(R2=0.131)in the relationship between teachers and students have more significant positive prediction of academic achievement in the simple regression.When we continue the combination of four dimensions of multiple regression analysis,the regression model has a greater explanation.The attachment dimension&Intimacy dimension in the two element regression analysis is R2=0.183.In the three element regression analysis,the attachment&Intimacy&avoidance dimension model is the best model R2=0.204.The regression equation is:y=0.884XAttachment-1.572XIntimacy-1.021XAvoidance+88.336.4.As one of the non intellectual factors,the teacher-student relationship has an important influence on the academic performance.According to the results of the study,starting from the teachers themselves and taking the four dimensions of the relationship between teachers and students as the starting point,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to effectively improve students’ academic performance:1.Reducing contradictions and conflicts and strengthening communication and communication.2.Improving the professionalism of teachers and developing the specialty of the subject.3.Paying attention to drawing wisdom and letting the students call the shots.4.Changing teaching methods to active classroom atmosphere.5.Building teacher morality,improving personality charm.6.Developing students’ multiple intelligence and teaching students in accordance with their aptitudes.7.Emphasizing on non-intellectual education.8.Changing the mode of getting along with each other and building a new type of relationship between teachers and students. |
