Analysis Of The Monitoring Process Of Scientific Research Data In Colleges And Universities From The Perspective Of Life Cycle

The academic community estimates that the total amount of data in the world will reach40 ZB by 2020,and we will move toward a new era of data,This has led to the transformation of scientific deductions in the academic world,Scientific research rules enter the fourth paradigm data intensive model.The environment of academic communication and scientific research have undergone earth-shaking changes.On this basis,the links between scientific researchers have become increasingly close.More and more scientific research is based on the re-understanding and utilization of existing scientific data.The position of research data in research activities has been increasing.With the continuous development of intensive research paradigms,data-driven scientific research has emerged at the right moment.Research data has become a powerful traction for the development of scientific research from the basics of scientific research reference and development.The results of the research data have been generated from the original scientific research,and the scientific research has been promoted by the shared use of research data.At the same time,colleges are important positions for scientific research.The generation,collection,storage,and sharing of scientific research data in colleges should arouse sufficient attention.The development of foreign research data curation services has been relatively mature.The domestic research data curation service has only just begun,Compared with foreign countries,there is still a certain gap.Learning from the experience of foreign countries and analyzing the curating process of research data in foreign universities will guide the library to do work about data curation and seize the data curation highland.Therefore,the first chapter of this thesis begins with data curation,and it uses “CNKI” and “Web of Science” as search platforms and uses document retrieval method to analyze the current research status and background at home and abroad.After analysis,it can be known that the curating of research data in foreign countries is in a relatively mature stage,and the main research results are practical.Domestic research data curation is in the elementary stage,and it mainly studies theoretical results.The second chapter is mainly related theories.The phase division of the life cycle and the relevant concepts of research data curation are described.The features and applications of research data curation and the role of the library in the curating of research data are introduced.The third chapter is mainly research and analysis.The U.S.,U.K.,and Australia-based universities that have relatively mature in data curation services are selected to analysis.And this paper carries out elemental analysis of the website settings and specific content of foreign research data curation through acombination manner of website research and literature research.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the research data curating process from the perspective of life cycle.According to the life cycle theory,the college of the research data curating process is analyzed in stages.In the early and long-term data collection,the focus is the plan of data curation and the policy of data curation.In the analysis of growth data,attention is paid to the standards of data and the storage of data.In the data sharing during the mature period,emphasis is placed on data sharing and reuse.The fifth chapter is the analysis of case.Taking Wuhan University as an example,it analyzes the data curation procedures of research data of Wuhan University,and compares the data curation procedures of the foreign that have been researched to find out what is lacking,in order to provide Ideas for the development of research data curation services in Wuhan University and universities in China.The sixth chapter is Conclusion.Based on this paper,a systematic summary is made,and the deficiencies of this article is pointed out and the future Research is placed on good hope.Based on the perspective of life cycle,the author investigates relevant factors of research data flow in foreign universities and analyzes the research data curation procedures of foreign universities,in order to provide Reference data for the development of research data curation in China.
