Research On The Deviations And Countermeasures Of Primary School Parent Committee's Function Performance

Primary education is the first stage of life education.Students have just moved from family to school,which is a transitional period to higher education.Therefore,during this period,more and more parents are required to participate in school education.Help students get better education.As one of the important ways of home-school cooperation,how to perform its functions correctly has become an important research direction for many educational researchers in China.In fact,some primary schools have set up parent committees,but their functions deviate obviously from their original functions.In this study,literature analysis,questionnaire survey and interview were used to study the functional bias of primary school parent committee.First of all,on the basis of looking through the previous materials,and at the same time according to the requirements for the functions of the parent Committee in the Liaoning Province Education Department's notice on further improving the system of Primary and Secondary School Parental Committees,The concept and function of parent committee are summarized in theory.The functions to be performed by the parents' committee are as follows: first,to participate in school management,to provide advice and suggestions on school work plans and important decisions,especially on matters of vital interest to students and parents;and to provide advice on school education,teaching and management Support and cooperate actively;supervise the educational and teaching activities to help schools improve their work.Second,to participate in educational work,to give play to parents' professional resources and self-education advantages,to provide support for educational and teaching activities in schools,and to provide educational resources and voluntary services for students to carry out out-of-school activities.Exchange and propagate correct educational ideas and scientific educational methods.Third,to communicate between schools and families,by informing parents of the important work and measures of the school,and by listening to the views and suggestions of parents on school work,so as to reflect in a timely manner the wishes of parents and the hopes and demands of the schools for their parents.Promoting interaction between schools and families Understand and work closely with home and school.Then,through the analysis of the survey data,we find that the deviation of the function of the parents' committee is as follows: first,the parents' committee participates in the formalization of the school management,mostly to help the school to manage the class fee,etc.Very little is involved in making important decisions in schools.Second,parents' committees are marginalized in education,mostly to help classes prepare teaching aids,help extracurricular activities,and rarely involve professional work in education and teaching.Thirdly,the communication between parents' committees and schools is unidirectional,most of them are one-way notifications to parents,and parents seldom take the initiative to communicate their own situation and difficulties with the parents' committees.Finally,based on the survey data,the paper puts forward some strategies to correct the deviation of primary school parent committee.first Standardizing the system of parent committee and making the system the basis for the correct performance of the function of parent committee.Second,to promote parents' correct understanding of parent committees and establish a correct concept of parental participation.Third,to promote the correct understanding of the functions of parent committees and to ensure that the participation of parent committees is supported by schools.Fourth,to strengthen the independence of parent committees,and use the Internet to strengthen the two-way nature of communication.
