In accordance with the concept of development,the Ministry of education and the relevant management departments have combed the practice of curriculum reform in China's ordinary high school for more than ten years,summarized and analyzed the existing problems in the process of reform,and promulgated the new curriculum standard of high school history in 2017,thus it ensures the continuity of the curriculum reform.Under the influence of the new curriculum reform,various teaching concepts and teaching methods are constantly emerging.In many teaching methods,the historical comparative method is applied more and the actual effect is better.On the basis of summarizing the achievements of previous studies,we think that historical comparative method is based on the curriculum standard of high school history,regarding students as the main body.By comparing and analyzing historical figures,historical events and historical phenomena in the same or different time and space environment,the teachers find out their differences and grasp the general method of historical development.It is also a common method in teaching.This paper analyzes the meaning of historical comparative method,the necessity of historical comparative method and the significance of historical comparative method from the origin of the topic,the current research situation at home and abroad,and the methods of research.Historical comparative method is beneficial to deal with the diversity of teaching materials,to improve students' ability of comparative identification,to help to deal with the key and difficult points of teaching.This paper also analyzes the principles and problems of historical comparative method.We must abide by the principles of connection,scientificity,typicality and epochal principles.Teachers should also pay attention to improving the quality of historical comparative method,understanding the students' learning situation and cultivating comparative ability.The content of the comparison is based on the curriculum standard,the teaching material as the basis,the application procedure of the historical comparative method,and the teachers' reflection on teaching.In the practical teaching,in order to use the historical comparative method skillfully in the teaching,the author mainly uses the questionnaire survey method to investigate the teachers and students in the relevant practice schools.According to the survey results,the historical comparative method is helpful to improve the learning effect of students.Therefore,the author focuses on the use of historical comparative method in all aspects of teaching.We should strengthen the application of historical comparative method in introducing newcourses,teaching new courses,consolidating and expanding,summarizing assignments and designing blackboard.
