Research On The Political Reconstruction Of Libya In The Post-Gaddafi Era

It has been nearly nine years since the fall of Qadhafi's regime in 2011.Libya,however,failed to establish a democratic regime during these nine years.On the contrary,the post-Qadhafi era of Libya has become even more turbulent.Many unstable factors like domestic terrorism,armed forces and Islam-secular struggles are consuming the energy of this country,making it become the so-called "failed state".Until now,Libya hasn't established a stable regime to control the current situation.The Transitional Government had led Libya to a brief period of peace after the 2011 war.However,it didn't last for too long.In May 2014,the eastern leader Haftar launched “Operation Dignity” against the rule of the National Congress,so the Second Civil War broke out in Libya.ISIS took this opportunity to infiltrate Libya.Accordingly,western powers use the excuses of fighting against terrorism to involve in Libya,in which they search for representatives of their own interests.So the situation in Libya is very complicated now.Under this background of internal and external troubles in Libya,this paper aims to analysis the political reconstruction of Libya in the post-Qadhafi era.
