The Impact Of China's Foreign Aid On Western Development Aid

Since the new century,with the improvement of China's comprehensive national strength,the influence of China's foreign aid has gradually increased,and gradually began to affect the western development assistance.In this context,this paper mainly explores the impact of China's foreign aid on the western development assistance based on the analysis of the concept,mode and mechanism of western development assistance and China's foreign aid.This paper will adopt qualitative research methods.On the basis of collecting a large number of relevant Chinese and English materials,this paper studies the impact of China's foreign aid on the western development assistance.This paper holds that China's foreign aid has exerted an important influence on the western development assistance in terms of concept,mode and mechanism.China has gradually changed from the beneficiary of the past international development assistance system to the participant and contributor.This paper will be divided into four parts.The first part mainly combs the course and effect of western development assistance.For a long time,the effect of international development assistance led by western donors has not been satisfactory.Compared with western development assistance,China's foreign aid has achieved good results,which has been affirmed by recipient countries and gradually aroused the reflection of western donors.The second part mainly explores the impact of China's foreign aid on the concept of western development assistance since the new century,based on the analysis of the concept of western development assistance and the concept of China's foreign aid.The third part mainly explores the impact of China's foreign aid methods on western development assistance methods since the new century,based on the analysis of western development assistance methods and China's foreign aid methods.The fourth part mainly explores the impact of China's foreign aid mechanism on the optimization of western development assistance mechanism since the new century,based on the analysis of western development assistance mechanism and China's foreign aid mechanism.This paper hold that China's foreign aid has begun to influence the western development assistance in terms of concept,mode and mechanism.In terms of aid concept,the aid concept of Improving people's livelihood in China and the Democracy first aid concept adhered to by western donors have appeared competition,exchange and integration to a certain extent,and gradually enriched and improved the concept of international development assistance.In terms of aid mode,China's cooperative aid mode has gradually influenced the western development aid mode.Western donors have gradually recognized and learned from China's aid mode,and gradually turned to cooperation and reciprocity as the main way of aid.In terms of aid mechanism,China has formed an efficient aid mechanism and innovated the aid evaluation mechanism,which will help break the drawbacks of western international development assistance mechanism.It help to promote the international development assistance mechanism toward rational and efficient direction and gradually optimize the current international development assistance mechanism.With the rise of China's strength and influence on foreign aid,China has changed from beneficiary of the past international development assistance system to participant and contributor,and has become an important emerging donor in the international development assistance system.
