Legal Research On Overseas Security Issues Of Chinese Citizens

Since the 21 st century,with the development of China’s economy and the improvement of China’s overall national strength,large-scale outbound tourism,business and study abroad activities of Chinese citizens have become a normal part of today’s society.However,Chinese citizens going abroad face not only a splendid world,but also various security risks.Factors such as regional unrest,terrorist attacks,public order disorder,law enforcement by the host government,major natural disasters and accidents have increased the security risks faced by Chinese citizens overseas.The complex and changeable overseas security situation highlights the inadequacy of China’s ability to cope with overseas security risks,and its protection work of citizens are gradually exposed.The first part of this paper defines the relevant meanings of overseas citizens and security,clarifies the scope of research objects,and lists the main factors threatening the security of overseas citizens in China to explore the deep-rooted reasons leading to security risks.The second part discusses the problems existing in overseas safety protection of Chinese citizens,mainly from the legal aspect,prevention mechanism and protection mode.The third part puts forward relevant Suggestions for the above mentioned problems,such as perfecting legislation,perfecting safety prevention mechanism and coordinating multiple protection mechanisms.
