With the rapid development of the mass media,music had been quickly integrated into people’s family life and became an influential part of them,which had an impact that cannot be ignored in people’s psychology as an important form of carrier.Based on the general attack model,some researchers had proposed a general learning model,extending the research from violent songs to pro-social song.It is pointed out that the content of the media was the main reason for their influence on the behavior.People learned pro-social contents of the media to promote their pro-social behaviors and reduce their offensive ones.There were rare studies on the impact of pro-social lyrics and songs on the aggression of subjects,especially of primary school students.Then this research was based on the general learning model theory,to explore the impact of pro-social lyrics songs on the aggression of primary school students.This study had taken senior elementary school students as research subjects,and was divided into a pilot section and two formal experiments.The pilot section was mainly divided into two parts.The first one was to screen different types of subjects for formal experiments,which number was 550.The second part was to select song materials suitable for formal experiments,which number was 62.Including,the pilot subjects did not participate in the formal experiment.The subjects of the formal experiment were 122 people.Experiment 1 was carried out first,and experiment 2 was carried out later.Experiment 1 examined the effects of two types of songs by Hot Sauce on two explicit aggressive behaviors of subjects,which number was 122.It had used between-subjects design of 2(song types of pro-social lyrics songs and neutral lyrics songs)× 2(Attack types of direct attack and indirect attack),which dependent variable was measured difference value of the amount of hot sauce assigned to the children.Experiment 2 used Implicit Association Test to investigate the effects of two types of songs on implicit attack cognitions of aggressive subjects,which number of was 122.It had used between-subjects design of 2(song types of pro-social lyrics songs and neutral lyrics songs)× 2(attack types of direct attack and indirect attack),which dependent variable was the measured IAT effect D value,which was the time difference value of the average reaction between the two joint tasks divided by standard deviation of reaction time of all the correct data in the two tasks.The results showed :(1)In the study of explicit aggressive behaviors,the pre-test showed that there was no significant difference between the explicit aggressive behavioral index(quantity of chili paste)of children in the pro-social lyric song group and the neutral lyric song group,showing a homogeneity.However,in the post-test,there were significant differences between the two groups.Compared with the neutral lyric song group,the quantity of chili sauce distributed to the children in the pro-social lyric song group decreased more significantly.The change values measured in the pre-test and post-test further indicated that the change values of the pro-social lyric group were higher than that of the neutral lyric group.(2)In the study of implicit aggressive cognition,the pre-test showed that the implicit aggressive cognition index(D value)of children in the pro-social lyric and song group was not significantly different from that in the neutral lyric and song group,showing a homogeneity.However,in the post-test,compared with the neutral lyric and song group,the D value of implicit association test for children in the pro-social lyric and song group decreased more significantly.The change values measured measured in the pre-test and post-test further indicated that the change values of the pro-social lyric group were higher than that of the neutral lyric group.(3)Under the condition of pro-social lyrics and songs,the main effect of attack types was significant,and the amount of chili sauce distributed to children in the direct attack group was significantly lower than that in the indirect attack group.Meanwhile,the D value of implicit association test in the direct attack group was significantly lower than that in the indirect attack group.Research conclusions:(1)Pro-social lyric songs have different effects on children’s explicit aggressive behaviors.Pro-social lyric songs reduce children’s explicit aggressive more significantly,while neutral lyric songs decreased less.(2)Pro-social lyric songs have different effects on children’s implicit aggressive cognition.Pro-social lyric songs reduce children’s implicit aggressive cognition more significantly,while neutral lyric songs decreased less.(3)Pro-social lyric songs can significantly affect the explicit aggressive behaviors and implicit aggressive cognition of children with direct aggression,but have relatively little impact on children with indirect aggression. |
