"Quan County General Map" is a very excellent map of the Ming Dynasty,with exquisite pictures and distinctive expressions.It contains profound aesthetic ideas and has been included many times by books of ancient maps.In addition,it is also the only surviving Quanzhou local chronicle map,which reproduces the natural geography and urban humanities of Quanzhou in the Ming Dynasty,and also carries the drawing culture of the Ming local chronicle map.Reliable and very high research value.First,the map has invaluable historical value.It not only describes the basic situation of the administrative divisions,geographical mountains and rivers,and the counties in the Quanzhou area of Fujian during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty,but also details the architectural layout of the Quanzhou Fucheng ponds,reflecting the relevant historical features of the Quanzhou City in the Ming Dynasty.Secondly,with regard to the drawing of the "Quan County General Map",this map not only has the basic drawing features of the Ming Dynasty Chronicle Map,but also has its own distinctive form of expression,and there is no literature to further explore this map.Research,studying this map can complement the research of Ming Dynasty city map.Finally,the "Izumi County General Map" reflects objective geography,and also reflects the subjective consciousness of people at the time of drawing,such as space and aesthetic concepts.Therefore,studying this map has certain image significance and academic value,and it is of great significance to modern map creation.It also has certain reference value.This article will combine the history and culture of Quanzhou,enter the historical context of the time,and use the aesthetic perspective to study the various components of the "Quan County General Map".While studying the historical culture of Quanzhou in the Ming Dynasty,explore the artistic concept of this map.Hope It can provide some inspiration for the artistic creation of modern maps in the future.In this thesis,the "Quan County General Map" during the Wanli period of the Ming dynasty is taken as the main research object,combined with the records of the local chronicles and other ancient books and documents in the "Selected Journal of the Ming Dynasty Chronicles Collected in the Tianyi Pavilion," through comparative research and literature research methods.Study this excellent map of the Ming Dynasty from various angles,and gradually analyze the drawing history,humanistic concepts,and aesthetic concepts behind it.This article is divided into four parts to study the "Spring County General Map." The first part introduces the compilation background of Quanquan General Map.This part starts with the development of the maps of ancient Chinese cities and the compilation of Wanli Quanzhou Prefecture Records to understand the background of Quanquan General Map.The second part is the image features and drawing methods of "Spring County General Map",including the formal characteristics of the map,the data source behind the map,the drawing author,graphic art language design,and the relationship with other maps.The third part starts with the notes in the "Quan County General Map" and explores the urban culture of the Quanzhou Prefecture in the Ming Dynasty,including religious beliefs,the history of resistance,and economic overview.The last part is the study of the creative concept of "Quanjun General Map",which explores the ideological concepts in the process of drawing the map,including space concepts,political consciousness,and aesthetic concepts.
