| Capitalism has brought about the fragmentation of the modern world,which has become a special way for many theorists to study modernity.Benjamin regards debris as the starting point of Paris urban landscape in the 19 th century.Under the background of criticizing and reflecting on modernity society,Benjamin chooses the "fable" style of writing to solve the predicament of Western modernity society with a kind of fragmentary aesthetic redemption."Fragments" is a universal feature of western modern society,a key to Benjamin’s theory of thought,and a foothold of many theories such as his view of language and literature.In this paper,the theory of fragmentation is based on the cultural background of modernity,and the composition of Benjamin’s theory of fragmentation is further discussed from the point of "fragmentation".In the preface,it briefly introduces the life of Benjamin,the research status of Benjamin’s fragmentation theory,the fragmentation theory of Zimmer and Krakow,and the modernity context of Benjamin’s fragmentation theory.The first chapter mainly explores the thrilling experience of the wanderer in the arcade of Paris under the background of the broken era from the perspective of the spectator of fragment illusion,so as to realize the reflection and criticism of the modern society.Chapter 2 starts with the fable,which is the unique way to write the ruins of the real world,to explore the unique features of the fable to express the fragmentary reality and the fable existence of Baroque’s mourning drama and critical redemption.Chapter 3 mainly introduces the overall goal of fragmentation theory,that is,to achieve a fragmented aesthetic redemption.Under the influence of Kabbala’s mystical doctrine,broken historical view and messianism,Benjamin hopes to save and repair the fragmentary tradition.Benjamin’s theory of fragmentation is a rebellion and subversion of the traditional theory of modernity,and has a far-reaching impact on post-modern theorists. |
