Changsha Wuyi Square, newly unearthed in 2010,is the official document of the official Han Dynasty in Linxiang County,Changsha County,East Han Dynasty. The brief was written by many different officials, not only in a large number, with clear handwriting and complete preservation, but also with a clear year, bearing a lot of information on the evolution and development of the style of the book, and showing the process of the disintegration, drafting, and regularization of the script in the midEastern Han Dynasty. It is an excellent ink material for studying the evolution of calligraphy in the mid-Eastern Han Dynasty. This article uses case studies, comparative studies and other methods for research. The structure of the article is divided into three parts. In the first part, the style classification and analysis of the style of Wuyi Square are analyzed from four aspects: pen, stroke, structure, and posture, and the details of the evolution of the style in the mid-East Han Dynasty are restored. The simple square script of one square has various phenomena of stylistic factors. In the second part, through the comparison between the Wuyi Square Bamboo Slips and other scripts, bricks, and inscriptions in the Eastern Han Dynasty,it can be seen that this type of confusing phenomenon is an important feature of the evolution of the script in the middle of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The development of Lishu script lags behind that of the simple script. The third part compares the Wuyi Square Jane with the Zoumalou West Han Jane and Dongpailou East Han Jane unearthed in the same area.It summarizes the evolution of the writing style in the same region and different periods.Despite the further evolution of Xingshu and early regular script, this evolution is still influenced by Lishu, which is also the most important epochal feature of the evolution of the bamboo script in the Eastern Han Dynasty. In general, the stylistic study of Wuyi Square not only helps to understand the disintegration of Lishu, but also can deepen the understanding of the evolution of Lishu to the cursive style of Han Jian cursive script, early script and early regular script.
