The opera originated in the late Renaissance and early Baroque.Because its original intention was to restore ancient Greek drama, the early operas mostly used Greek mythology as the platform.Monteverdi's opera "Orpheo" is in this context produced. With the development of the times, the themes of operas have become more diversified.Historical stories, civic life, literary works, etc.have all become the objects of opera selection. In the period of Classical Romanticism, the themes of operas have become more and more rich. Some operas based on real life have also come to the stage.Even if the classical prototype of Orpheo mythology already has a semi-theatrical form, the script about him is still welcomed by the composer.Although the composers all like to use this fairy tale to create, due to the different times and the influence of the composer's own creative thinking, the creation concept and spiritual connotation of each opera are greatly different. This article selects three of the early Baroque Monteverdi's "L'Orfeo",the Classical period of Gluck's "Orfeo and Euridice" and the Romantic period of Offenbach's "Orphée aux enfers" Orfeo explores how different historical representations of operas and creative ideas of the same subject matter have been performed in different periods. The article begins with three plays to briefly describe the composer's life, period, and adaptation of the work relative to the original myth to narrate the general content and background of the work.Secondly,it analyzes and elaborates the unique music demands of the three operas in combination with the spirit of the times of each period. Finally, under the enlightenment of feminist music criticism in "New Musicology",the male and female characters in the three operas are shaped and analyzed, and the opera is viewed from a new perspective. The entire article can have a new understanding of each opera from three perspectives, and a certain understanding of the three writers and how the times shape their works.
