The Creation Of Literature Under The Entanglement Of Illness

This paper focuses on the similarities and differences between Lu Xun and Natsume Soseki,about their attitudes towards disease and death,and their influence on their creation about "life".It is a cross-cultural poetics research which uses the "parallel connection method" and other related methods of comparative literature,takes the similarities and differences between writers as the horizontal research and the life theme as the vertical and in-depth research.About the disease view,the author analyzes the disease psychology of the two writers by using the relevant knowledge and research methods such as pathology and disease trace,and according to Gaston Basra’s theory of imagination and phenomenology,this paper will start with the disease but not limited to it.Exploring how the author treats his disease,how to coexist with the disease,and even how to write it down.Disease belongs to the category of medicine and is not only limited to this paper.Therefore,this paper will put importance on the influence mechanism of disease and death,which are caused by the two writers’ disease.How does the philosophy of life represented by these two ideas work on the literary life of the two writers and make the creation full of fighting "Rage".This paper is based on the definity of comparative study,so the framework of this paper is to compare the similarities and differences between Lu Xun and Natsume Soseki.And the core of this paper is to explore the potential influence and what Lu Xun may suffer during his travel to Japan.Although disease and death are two seemingly negative factors,during these two writers’ whole lifetime,they have turned negatives into the power for fighting.Such a philosophy of life is worth pondering.In the introduction,the author expounds the reasons for the creation of this paper,the relevant concepts mainly used in the writing,the summary and reflection of the research status,and the specific framework structure and research methods.In the first chapter,will concerning about the first layer of life philosophy,the study of the similarities and differences of disease view,And,the influence of disease on individuals is not only in physiology but also in psychology.For Lu Xun and Natsume Soseki,disease is a whole-lifeenemy.Two writers have the same point of view,that is the friction and collision between spirit and reality is the contradiction externalization between the spiritual world and the external environment.After affirming the similarity,he was born in two countries and received two different kinds of culture and education.Even if he had similar views on disease,he would inevitably be different when dealing with the externalization of internal and external contradictions,which would then affect the content and ideological system of creation and experience different "self" personalities;In the second chapter,Lu Xun and Natsume Soseki,who also accepted the influence of Buddhism,both had the idea of "death" or liberation when it comes to the disappearance of the body.However,it seems that opposite concepts of life and death have different opinions in two writers’ works.How to live? How to die? Is life and death really opposite? Is death instantaneous? According to the view of disease,how to deal with the relationship between "spirit and flesh" when it comes to death,the disappearance of the body and the rise of consciousness,which can be called the ‘real death’,have different answers in the two writers’ works.The third chapter,thinking about disease and death,life philosophy makes Natsume Soseki and Lu Xun’s creation reflect the common characteristics,which is "hubris".Rage can be directly caused by disease.Foucault believes that disease is caused by the break of the balance between spirit and body.Therefore,in order to make up for the spiritual oppression,or some lack of consciousness caused by the external environment,the writer produced compensatory behavior in his creation.To create artistic works,including literary works,fury is only used to serve works,play the role of Ripper and breaker,and undertake the task of "restoring rationality from irrationality,and then returning rationality to irrationality".Lu Xun’s "Rage" not only comes from his teacher Zhang Taiyan,but also from Natsume Soseki’s subtle influence.The conclusion part summarizes the whole paper.Comparing the life philosophy of Lu Xun and Natsume Soseki is not to prove that Natsume Soseki has a direct impact on Lu Xun,but to explore a new perspective for Lu Xun’s ideological research.Although there is no direct intersection between the similar life experience,the similar literary ideal and the similar background of the times,the experience of life philosophy between the two writers like a divine intercourse.The two literary giants have died,but their spirit will exist as long as they expected.
