Carl Heinrich Carsten Reinecke(1824-1910)is one of the famous representatives of the romantic period. As a pianist, composer, conductor, and music professor,Reinecke composed a wide variety of works, among which flute concerto in D major in1908 was one of the few woodwind concertos of the romantic period. Its beautiful melody, gorgeous technique and rich emotion make it a characteristic classic in the world flute repertoire. This elegant flute concerto in D major, with its traditional three-movement structure, light and bright orchestration, and the clear sense of layers in each part, all exude the long-lost classical spirit. This paper analyzes the composer's musical style and creation background, the effect of musical structure analysis on performance interpretation, and the comparison between different audio versions,so as to provide the performer with reference materials from the perspective of rationality and sensibility.
