Performance Analysis Of Flute Concerto By Carl Nielsen

Flute Concerto was composed by Carl Nielson in his late years and has been influential since then. This concerto poses very strict requirements on the players, in terms of both musical quality control and playing techniques. By analyzing the playing techniques of Flute Concerto,this paper was to discuss how to deal with and understand the musical quality of flute and the playing techniques in Nielson’s music. Also this paper has made a discussion and recreation from the perspective of playing practice and shared the author’s own understandings.
