This Russian to Chinese translation practice is based on Smirnov’s article“Translation and Dispute of Chinese Classical Poetry” as the source text.Because of the text with both letter form and literary two parts,in the process of translation, the translator translates the text with Yan Fu’s theory of “faithfulness, expressiveness, and elegance”,and express the different speeches of characters base on accurate meanings. The translation makes the version became “original”.“Faithfulness” means that the meaning is not contrary to the original, that is,the translation should be accurate, not deviate, not omit, and don’t increase and decrease the meanings of the source text optionally;“expressiveness” means not to stick to the original form, the translation is clear and coherent;“Elegance” means that the words are used in the translation should be decent and pursue the elegance of the original article, concise and elegant. In the process of translation,we have always followed the above-mentioned theories and revised and polished the translation many times. The translation practice report analyzes the translation in detail from the perspectives of vocabulary and sentences, including literal translation, free translation, omission and other translation methods and techniques. We use comparative, inductive and other research methods to analyze the representative examples that appear in the text, aiming to summarize this genre method of translation through this translation practice, and add our own one for the translation of Russian Sinology research works and articles.Share strength. In addition, the author made necessary notes to explain the characters, books and phenomena mentioned in some articles.Translating this article makes the author more proficient in using various translation strategies, techniques and methods. At the same time,it is also a smallsupplement to the lack of sinology research in China, and it has enriched the results of sinology research in China. |
