In second language learning,in addition to mastering the necessary language elements,learners need to strengthen their acquisition of pragmatics.Pragmatics is the use of language.When the speaker speaks words that do not conform to the language habit of the target language,it will be accompanied by pragmatic errors,which will affect the smooth progress of communication.Based on the pragmatic usage of some Thai students from Tianjin Normal University and my teaching practice experience at the Confucius Institute at the Thai Maritime Silk Road,this article collects and sorts out pragmatic errors that often occur in some students' daily spoken and ordinary writing as corpora.On the basis of previous studies,this paper uses questionnaires and individual interviews to analyze the pragmatic problems of learners of different Chinese levels in Thailand in different contexts..In terms of language pragmatics,it is divided into three aspects,which are stylistic errors,emotional color errors,and word collocation errors;in social pragmatics,it can be divided into six aspects,which are greeting and farewell,invitations and euphemism,requests and thanks.In addition,the causes of pragmatic failure are analyzed according to the environment of students' language learning,the differences between Chinese and Thai cultures,the choice of Chinese teaching materials,the influence of teachers,and the personal factors of learners.Finally,based on the reasons for these problems,we will discuss the targeting of Thailand in future Chinese teaching in terms of improving the Chinese context,compiling high-quality localized textbooks,improving teachers' pragmatic skills,and cultivating students' personal interests,strategies for pragmatic errors of learners with different Chinese proficiency.
