On The Spiritual Expression Of Watercolor Paintings Of Contemporary Chinese Minority Figures

Watercolor painting has been introduced to China from the West for more than 100 years.It was only in recent decades that Chinese painters paid attention to and learned watercolor painting.With its portable way of carrying and special water-based language,watercolor painting has been favored by more and more art seekers.With the continuous development of Chinese watercolor painting,the team of Chinese watercolor painters gradually expanded.Subsequently,watercolor figure painting also gradually developed.First of all,this paper sorts out the development process and current situation of Chinese watercolor figure painting,summarizes the papers and books related to watercolor painting of ethnic minority figures,and then analyzes the development status and artistic thinking of Chinese contemporary watercolor figure painting of ethnic minorities.Secondly,this paper discusses the spiritual expression of Chinese contemporary watercolor paintings of ethnic minority figures from the three aspects of artistic works related to this subject painting and artists’ creation process and creation method.Finally,from the personal material collection,the creation process and the work analysis of these three aspects to discuss my personal painting spirit expression.Therefore,it is hoped that through the study and research of the thesis,more scholars will have more understanding of ethnic minorities,strengthen national identity and improve national cohesion.I also hope to improve my self-cognition and explore my own artistic direction and painting style through the above research and study,and finally realize my subjective expression of spirit,emotion and consciousness through the painting window.
