Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics And Performance Techniques Of Op.68 By Moshkovsky's Piano Works

Maurice Moszkowski(1854-1925)is a 19 th century composer,conductor and pianist.In his life,he created a considerable number of music works with different styles,themes and feelings.In particular,he has created more than 200 pieces of piano works,including both technical and musical etudes,as well as many very expressive and musical piano pieces.His piano works show the performance of piano,with a romantic style.In addition to his Piano Etude(Op.72),which is widely used in performance and teaching,many of his other piano works are not got due attention.During my postgraduate study,I learned his work Op.68.I was deeply attracted by its unique melody and I was strongly interest in it.Therefore,I chose Op.68 as the research object.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is an overview of Moszkowski’s life and works.The second chapter is an analysis of four works of piano Op.68.The third chapter is an analysis of performance,techniques and music interpretation of Op.68.The fourth chapter is the music interpretation and performance experience of Moskovsky’s Op.68.Through the research and analysis of four pieces of Moszkowski ’s piano work Op.68,this paper digs out the lyrical melody,colorful harmony,changeable rhythm and personalized emotional expression contained in the music,so as to deepen people’s understanding of Moszkowski ’s piano works and guide people to better understand,express and perform Moszkowski ’s piano works.
