Research On Hong Buyu's Fashion Porcelain Painting

In the early years of the Republic of China,a number of new female image paintings appeared on Jingdezhen painted porcelain,which mainly represented the leisure life of women and were characterized by realism and idealism.As the porcelain painting theme is modern women wearing new clothes,the architectural background of western-style houses,and is known as the "fashion female porcelain." Although this group of Chinese fashion figures pink porcelain has only been prevailed for18 years before their withdraw from the historical stage,in addition,although they are rare,they contain a wealth of cultural information and high artistic value.In Jingdezhen,a large number of porcelain painting masters with individual characteristics emerged at that time.These professional painters formed their own unique features in artistic style,and their works had their own characteristics.Among them,Hong Buyu became a leading figure in this field due to his exquisite quality,large quantity and his creation time throughout the development process of fashion figure porcelain in the Republic of China.His porcelain painting works are the main research object of this paper.Based on a large number of material materials,this paper is divided into four parts.The second part is Hong Buyu's porcelain painting of fashion figures,including schema,composition and figure.The third part is the art of calligraphy.It starts from the two aspects of calligraphy style and title.The fourth part is the comparison between Hong Buyu and other fashion figures in Jingdezhen.In the comparison with the works of Mao Zirong,Pan Zhaotang and Xia Dingchen,his personal characteristics are highlighted.Through the analysis and exploration of Hong Buyu and his works,we can deeply understand the evolution of Hong Buyu's painting style and that of other representative professional painters.
