Wuxi Tianyun Club is a literary oratorio club founded in the late Ming Dynasty.During the time from the earliest Quju to the later Tianyun Club,the members have always upheld the "Liangxi Qingyin" literary singing style after more than 300 years.At the end of 2013,Kunqu enthusiasts in Wuxi established a new Kunqu Club under the name of "Tian Yun Club".At the beginning of the restoration,members of the club regularly gathered together to sing and sing because of their common interests.However,the ever-growing cultural consciousness has made members try to communicate history with the present.Seeking the memory,pursuiting the singing habit,discoverying the history to inherit music and spirit of the old Tianyun Club.The article uses the theory and method of ethnomusicology to conduct a diachronic investigation of the old Tianyun Club,a two-year field survey of the new Tianyun Club,and an analysis of the singing style of "Liangxi Qingyin"."collective memory" suggested by Halbwachs is the main theory to explain these that the proceeding of establishing the memory frame by the new Tianyun Club,the meaning of "Tianyun Club" and the construct of history and inheritance.
